English: Black-and-white photo, 1894, of the brick building of the Public Primary School for the 2nd grade on Weteringschans, with parents chatting as they waited for their children. It is near the corner of Nieuwe Vijzelstraat. There are many men with handcarts on the street, walking on the cobblestones. Street photography by city photographer Jacob Olie; free download photo.
Nederlands: Foto in zwart-wit, 1894 van het bakstenen gebouw van de Openbare Lagere School der 2e klasse aan de Weteringschans, met pratende ouders die daar op hun kinderen stonden te wachten. Het is dichtbij de hoek met de Nieuwe Vijzelstraat. Er zijn veel mannen met handkarren op straat, die lopen over de kinderkopjes.
